It is uncertain what the future will look like in this unprecedented coronavirus crisis.
One seeks certainty to look away from that anxiety.
Therefore, the line of sight naturally goes to the past.
At this time, our interest in photographs of ourselves in the past and books we read in the past may be, apart from nostalgia, to confirm to us "the facts that were certain."
By doing so, we may be trying to get a sense of security.
So how far can we go back to the past?
The universe awoke with the "Big Bang".
Space, matterial and energy were born from "nothing".
Time was born in the blink of an eye.
How will time be perceived?
If the environment around us looked like a photo that didn't change at all, time would look like it's stopped.
In other words, isn't it synonymous with time and change in material?
And energy is used when material changes.
Material changes with energy.
However, according to the law of conservation of energy in physics, "the total amount of energy does not change in an isolated universe."
When the elevator goes up, it goes down the same amount.
In other words, the amount of energy obtained is lost, and the sum is always zero.
However, this zero is not nothing, but an equilibrium state, which is the "emptiness" of Eastern thought.
It will be in a balanced state while maintaining energy.
The natural world that surrounds us usually looks calm, but the deviation of the magnetic field can cause thunder.
In other words, the universe was in a state of "emptiness" rather than "nothing".
It can be said that the potential energy like "thunder" has become apparent due to the deviation that is thousands of times smaller than the tip of the pin.
In summary, energy created the concept of time by causing the change of matter.
However, the activation of this energy gradually subsides, and the universe returns to the "zero" state again while maintaining the same amount of energy.
It's just like dropping a drop of ink in the bathtub and it fades away, or the thunder eventually stops.
When the universe is awake, we are acting on the stage of the "dream" that the universe sees.
In the past, "production" and "consumption" were always the perfect pair for humankind.
In other words, people lived in an environment created by their own hands, including food, clothing and shelter.
Eventually, as the communication skills using language developed, the trade between people accelerated.
As a result, it has become possible for others to supplement what they do not have, allowing people to form communities and survive.
Furthermore, the development of technology due to the agricultural and industrial revolutions further accelerated population growth.
In other words, the number of people that one person can support has continued to increase.
Of course, the war and plague that occurred during that time have adjusted the population.
Still, the world population continues to grow.
Now you can eat meat, fish and vegetables by typing on the keyboard in the city office.
You can get clothes by counting the bills at the bank.
You can refuel with gasoline by painting the canvas.
It's amazing.
Things that are not directly related to what you are doing due to the division of labor are connected all over the world.
The information revolution is accelerating the speed of that connection.
It can now be said that the speed of movement of people, goods and information is proportional to population growth.
On the other hand, the limited resources of the earth will decrease in inverse proportion to the increase in population.
When population growth exceeds the resource supply limit, the population inevitably begins to decline.
If the match burns out, the fire goes out, but the energy released by the fire does not go out of the "universe" according to the law of conservation of energy.
So if you compare the earth to a matchstick, even if the earth burns out, the total energy of the entire universe will not change.
When the vibration of energy completely stops from the universe in this way, the universe can finally fall asleep as much as before the "Big Bang".
今回の未曾有のコロナウイルス危機で未来がどうなるか見通しが立たない。
人はその不安から目をそむけるために確実なものを求める。
為に、自然と視線は過去に向かう。
この時期に、過去の自分の写真や過去に読んだ本への私たちが関心を寄せるのは、ノスタルジーとは別に、そこに私たちに「確かにあった事実」の確認のためだろう。
そのことによって、私たちは一縷の安心を得ようとしているのかもしれない。
では、私たちはどこまで「過去」に遡れるだろうか？
「ビッグバン」で宇宙が目覚めた。
「無」から空間や物質やエネルギーが生まれた。
瞬きする間に時間が生まれた。
時間はどのように感知されるだろう。
私たちを取り巻く環境が、もしまったく変化しない写真のようであれば、時間はストップしているように感じられるだろう。
つまり、時間と、物質の変化とは同義語ではないか。
そして物質が変化するときエネルギーが使用される。
エネルギーによって物質は変化する。
だが、物理学のエネルギー保存の法則によれば「孤立した宇宙の中でエネルギーの総量は変化しない」。
エレベーターが上がるとき、それと同じ量が下がる。
つまり得られた量だけのエネルギーが失われ、その総和は常にゼロである。
しかしこのゼロは無ではなく、均衡状態であって、東洋思想の「空 /emptiness」である。
エネルギーを保ちながらそれが釣り合っている状態であろう。
私たちを取り巻く自然界も、普段は平穏に見える、だが磁場のずれによって雷が鳴ることがある。
つまり、宇宙は「無 /nothing 」ではなく「空/ emptiness」の状態だった.。
それが、ピンの先より数千倍小さいズレによって、「雷」のように潜在的なエネルギーが、顕在化したといえないだろうか。
要約すると、エネルギーが物質の変化を生じさせて時間の概念を作ったことになる。
しかしこのエネルギーの発動が徐々に収まっていき、宇宙は同じ量のエネルギーを保ったまま、再び「 ゼロ」の状態に戻っていく。
丁度それはバスタブにインクを一滴落とせば徐々に薄く消えていき、または雷がやがて鳴り止むようにだ。
宇宙が覚醒している時に、宇宙が見る「夢」の舞台で私たちは演技している。
かつて人類は、「生産」と「消費」とが常にピッタリと対だった。
つまり、人々は衣食住全て、自らの手でで作った環境で生きていた。
やがて、言語を使ったコミュニケーション力が発達するにつれ、人と人との交易が加速的に進んだ。
結果、自分が持っていないものを他人から補うことが可能になって、人々はコミュニティを形成し生き延びることが出来るようになった。
さらに農業革命、産業革命による技術の発達はさらに人口増加を加速した。
つまり一人が養える人数が増加し続けてきた。
もちろんその間に起きた戦争や疫病によって人口調整がなされてきた。それでも世界の人口は増え続けている。
今や、都市のオフィスでキーボードをタイプすれば、肉魚野菜が食べられる。
銀行で紙幣を勘定すれば服が手に入る。
キャンバスに絵の具を塗っているとガソリンを給油できる。
不思議なことだ。
分業による自分のやっていることと直接関係ないもの同士が、世界中で結びついていく。
情報革命がその結びつきの速度をさらに加速化さている。
今や、人・モノ・情報の移動スピードと人口増加は比例していると言える。
一方で、限りある地球の資源は人口増加反比例して減少していく。
人口増加が資源の供給限度を超えたとき、必然的に人口は減少に転じる。
もしマッチが燃え尽きると火は消えるが、火によって放出されたエネルギーは、エネルギー保存の法則によれば、「宇宙」から消滅することはない。
だからもし地球をマッチ棒に喩えれば、地球が燃え尽きたとしても、宇宙全体のエネルギーの総和は変わらないということになる。
そのようにして宇宙から完全にエネルギーの振動が止んだとき、宇宙はやっと「ビッグバン」以前のように大いなる眠り につくことが出来る。
